Conversations stay with the case instead of being spread across inboxes, phone notes, video transcripts, and individual memory.
Case-bound communication records are available where enabled for the firm and approved for the data being handled.
Conversations enrich the case file. They stay attached to the case so the team can review them with the rest of the case. They do not turn Home into an inbox.
What belongs in the case
Attach communication context that affects case work:
- Case notes.
- Client emails and document messages.
- Meeting summaries or transcripts where approved.
- SMS records where consent and firm policy allow.
- Attorney notes, call summaries, and other approved case notes that explain next steps or strategy context.
Search and source context
When communications are tied to the case, attorneys can ask questions with more complete context and verify the underlying message or note.
Consent and sensitive data
Outbound SMS and voice workflows require appropriate consent. Do not route sensitive client, claimant, or veteran information through unapproved channels. Last modified on August 3, 2026
